My grades and SAT scores were a bit iffyJun 11 2010Undecided
My grades and SAT scores were a bit iffy. I really fell apart in 10th grade and got all C's and even failed math. 11th and 12th grade i took like 9 APS and got almost straight a's so my GPA ended up being like a 3.6 or 3.7 but it was on an upward curve so it served in my favor. I think what got me into Fordham, and all the other competitve schools I got into was my essay and resume. BUILD YOUR RESUME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, trust me its the best way to stand out from all the genius's in your class that make you look like a retard.

I went to a community college to save cash,May 17 2010Business - Management and Administration
I went to a community college to save cash, and I transferred in with a 3.70 GPA. The school is competitive (significantly more difficult to enter straight from high school), but if you do what you're supposed to do in class, keep yourself active with a couple of extra-ciriculars you'll be in good shape. Acceptance rate was 42% for my incoming class. Get in here before they get cocky though. The school is renovating its campus, and reinvesting in many of it's programs as its self proclaimed goal is to match Georgetown by 2016. Over 27,000 applicants this year. Record numbers. Get moving....ya homo!

Projected acceptance rate for 2015, is 32%, the schoolDec 20 2009Unknown
Projected acceptance rate for 2015, is 32%, the school was labeled as the new Ivy, by the Wall Street Journal. To get in to Fordham you must have a high GPA, at least 3.5 GPA. I came into Fordham as a transfer with a 3.8 GPA, and a 2000/2400 SAT. I transferred from Yale College, because they weren't offering me a reasonable financial aid. The school is gorgeous, the students are bright, and from various parts of the United States, and even internationally. I have seen students from Jamaica, Africa, Spain, China, Russia, Georgia, Japan, Italy, France, and Cambodia. The school has a very diverse population and the students are extremely bright. The school is hard, but the name recognition is becoming much more known. Go RAMS!

The admission into this school is extremely difficult! InDec 04 2009Economics
The admission into this school is extremely difficult! In the past it was a 50/50 shot, as of today I heard it was less than 40 percent. Fordham has done a great job with the admission policy. I would say volunteer, have an amazing GPA, graduate top of your class and you may have a seat waiting for you. To the past remark, that transferring into this university is easy; I am going to have to disagree with you. For one, if you transfer from ivy into this school of course admission is going to be a bit more accepting in decision making.
